Fundraising and Charities
-
STRYDE4 Events will unite organisations and bring together communities to support the causes they deeply care about. Your ‘Y’. Our goal is to raise $2 million across six charity sectors: Mental Health, Indigenous, Cancer, Disability, Families and the Environment.
-
In time we hope to support more charities and we encourage you to ask your favourite charity to get involved with STRYDE4. Please ask them them to contact our community partnerships manager - Sally Heginbotham (sally@stryde4.com.au) For now, we have some incredible charities across our 6 Not For Profit sectors and encourage you to check out their HIGH IMPACT PROJECTS and choose to support one of them.
-
STRYDE4 have created some fundraising tips and resources to help you get started. Please contact your chosen charity for further fundraising support, and thank you for taking the time to support your chosen charity.
-
We encourage everyone to raise a minimum of $150 for your chosen charity (it is not mandatory). Our ambition is to help each charity deliver their High Impact Project and provide additional funds which they can allocate to other important projects. Whilst fundraising is not mandatory we sincerely hope you will recognise this opportunity to help those in need.
-
An individual fundraising page will automatically be set up for you when you register for an event. It’s quick and easy to do……Go check it out!

If you are fundraising as part of a team, you can create a team fundraising page. One person first registers as the team leader and creates the team with a unique name (get creative). Once the team is set up, additional members can join when they register. You will be asked to select the team name from a drop down menu. If you are having trouble joining a team, please contact our platform providers helpdesk on: support@grassrootz.com.
-
You can send them your fundraising page’s unique URL. From there they’ll be able to click ‘DONATE’ and leave a message of support. This URL is unique to you allowing you to share your page with your network via email, social media or even SMS. The most efficient way of raising funds for your chosen charity is through your fundraising page, however some supporters may be able to donate offline. Please check this with your chosen charity.
-
