High Impact Project – The In A Good Place Project
The In A Good Place Project funds community-led activities that reduce isolation, challenge mental health stigma, and build stronger social connections. It empowers local communities to create meaningful, grassroots solutions that support mental wellbeing and resilience.

Northern Beaches Men’s Connection Project
Grow participation across existing Northern Beaches men’s groups, strengthening connection and support within local communities.
Expand the program by establishing new chapters in areas where men need greater opportunities for connection.
Create inclusive community activities that engage men and their families and encourage healthy, supportive relationships.

Funds raised through STRYDE4 Day will contribute to Gotcha4Life’s Mentally Fit Schools program, equipping students, families and teachers with practical mental fitness tools to manage life’s ups and downs.
Half of all mental health challenges begin before the age of 14*. If the future is going to change, prevention needs to start early, in primary schools
Gotcha4Life’s Mentally Fit Schools program helps schools embed mental fitness across their whole community. It teaches students, staff and families simple daily habits, consistent language and everyday practices that will equip the whole community with the tools for a mentally fit life.
Through the program, young people build their emotional muscles, strengthen connections and learn how to ask for help when they need it. Teachers and parents are supported with practical ways to model and reinforce these skills every day.
By backing this work, you’re helping young people and their community build their mental fitness skills needed for life.

The Griffith Park Long Reef Restoration Project
This project restores and expands a degraded coastal ecosystem while creating meaningful, supported employment. Through targeted bushland rehabilitation, Bushlink teams will rebuild biodiversity, strengthen habitat connectivity, and improve the long-term resilience of this vital wildlife corridor.

Our goal is plant 1,000 trees through our Landscape Resilience Program, restoring biodiversity and strengthening ecosystems impacted by climate change and habitat loss. Your donation funds the entire restoration lifecycle—from locally sourced seeds and nursery propagation to planting, protection and several years of maintenance to ensure the trees survive and create lasting habitat corridors.
With your help we’re aiming to plant eight million trees by 2030. Donations will help expand community nurseries, build fire-wise landscapes with resilient native species, and secure native seed supplies to strengthen climate resilience in Australia’s most vulnerable ecosystems. 🌱

This project brightens the hospital experience for 250 seriously ill children at Sydney Children’s Hospital by bringing fun, laughter, and positive distraction through the Starlight Express Rooms. By reducing stress, anxiety, and boredom, the program helps children feel happier, more confident, and better able to cope with treatment — creating moments of joy when they are needed most.

The Hunger Project
The Hunger Project works to end hunger by activating local leaders and empowering communities to drive their own sustainable change. By shifting mindsets, strengthening local leadership, and building inclusive social systems, the project creates lasting pathways out of hunger and poverty.

Clown Doctors Australia
Clown Doctors Australia brings laughter, play, and human connection into children’s hospitals, helping young patients cope with fear, pain, and anxiety. By transforming clinical moments into experiences of comfort and resilience, Clown Doctors create joy, calm, and confidence when children need it most.

The Volunteer Team Leader Project
STRYDE4 AYAH is raising vital funds to establish a Volunteer Team Leader — an 8-hour-per-week role that will coordinate rosters, match volunteers to patients and ensure the Adolescent and Young Adult Hospice volunteer program operates at full capacity. Launching during National Volunteer Week, this role will provide the leadership and coordination needed to support volunteers and deliver meaningful experiences for young people in care.

Your efforts will support advancing new drug and therapy development, tackling key unknowns in MND research such as its causes and progression, and strengthening the infrastructure that enables critical research.
Since 2014, FightMND has worked to disrupt Australia’s MND landscape by raising awareness and funding vital research to improve quality of life, discover new treatments, and ultimately find a cure for this complex disease.

Food relief services provide far more than meals. They improve people’s mental health, financial stability, and social connection. Many describe this support as a lifeline that helps them avoid impossible choices between essentials like food, rent, and medication. Your support will have an impact that flows on, beyond the meal provided.

- The delivery of 20,000 additional meals to people in need across Australia
- The diversion of 10,000kg of good food from going to waste and ending up in landfill
- The avoidance of 10,000kg of greenhouse gas emissions through avoiding food into landfill

LocalKind are an independent, not-for-profit organisation committed to serving the community throughout the Northern Beaches. They’ve been here since 1977: available with their time to build connections and strengthen community.

Each year 1,700 public school children-in-need come to Stewart House for a 12-day stay from across NSW and ACT. In 2021, we celebrate 90 years of serving public school children. Our programs have been delivered entirely without charge to the carers of the children we serve throughout our long history. During their stay, children receive dental, optical, hearing and medical screening and treatment and emotional support. We deliver these services alongside educational programs and excursions designed to boost their self-esteem and promote a healthier lifestyle. A stay at Stewart House provides children with a much-needed break from their current circumstances. We inspire children to see beyond the present and to have real hope and positive aspirations for the future.

At Bear Cottage, every moment matters. Supporting children with life-limiting conditions, Bear Cottage provides not only expert paediatric palliative care but something just as important - time for families to be together. In a place filled with warmth, laughter and compassion, families can pause, connect and create memories they will carry forever. We also provide compassionate end-of-life care, supporting children and their families with dignity, comfort and love.
Funds raised through Stryde4 help make these moments possible - through creative therapies, celebrations, shared experiences and respite stays that give families time to recharge. Every step, every dollar, and every share helps bring more joy, more connection, and more meaningful moments to families when they need it most.

Funds raised from STRYDE4 will support a “Critical Care Transport Missions” package, directly supporting Little Wings to deliver free flights and ground transport for seriously ill children living in rural and regional Australia. This funding would enable multiple return missions for families who need to travel long distances to access specialist treatment only available in major cities - reducing journeys that can take hours by road to just a short flight. Little Wings already supports thousands of children each year, completing over 2,300 missions and helping more than 5,000 children access care annually.
This is high-impact because it removes one of the biggest barriers to treatment - distance. By easing the financial, physical and emotional strain of constant travel, the program keeps families together and ensures children can access life-saving care safely and consistently. Every funded mission is immediate, tangible impact: a child getting to hospital, a parent by their side, and a family supported through one of the toughest periods of their lives.

Funds raised from STRYDE4 will support a “Rapid Response Lifesaving Missions” package, helping CareFlight deliver critical care when every minute counts. Their specialist doctors and nurses bring hospital-level treatment directly to accident scenes and remote communities via helicopters and aircraft - often where no immediate medical support exists. This funding could support multiple emergency retrieval missions or help keep a medical crew in the air, ready to respond 24/7.
This delivers urgent, life-saving care at the most critical moment. Every mission funded means faster treatment, better outcomes, and in many cases, the difference between life and death - ensuring people across Australia can access emergency care, no matter where they are.

The Northern Beaches Women’s Shelter runs a Wellness Program to support the physical, mental and emotional wellbeing of the women in their care, providing meaningful opportunities for healing, connection and confidence-building. Designed as an important part of each woman’s recovery journey, the program creates safe and supportive spaces where women can come together, build a sense of belonging, and gently reconnect with themselves and others.
Through activities such as yoga, Pilates, mindful walking, craft groups and sewing, women are not only supported in their wellbeing but are also given the chance to learn new skills, share experiences and form positive social connections.

Your funds will support access to free, trauma-informed online recovery programs for women rebuilding their lives after domestic abuse, trauma or loss. Delivered in a safe and confidential online environment, these programs provide expert-led guidance, practical tools and a supportive community - helping women develop resilience, rebuild confidence and regain a sense of control over their future.
This is long-term recovery, not just short-term support. By funding these programs, you’re helping women move from survival to stability - strengthening their wellbeing, independence and connection. One Meal supports people experiencing homelessness, hardship and food insecurity across the Northern Beaches by providing free community meals and direct food deliveries. For many, it’s not just about the food - it’s about connection, dignity and knowing someone cares.
Through STRYDE4, we’re helping fund the preparation and delivery of over 1,000 meals and food hampers to those doing it tough. Every step helps put food on the table and ensures no one in our community goes without.

Bringing Deadly Coders Online to Sydney Schools
This project provides fully subsidised access to Deadly Coders Online for Sydney schools with high Indigenous student populations, making coding and digital skills accessible to more students. By equipping teachers and engaging learners, the initiative helps build early STEM confidence and pathways for future Indigenous digital leaders.

First Nations Response (FNR) is an Aboriginal Women-led grassroots organisation providing urgent food relief, household essentials and crisis support to their communities.

Cancer

Support cancer research by Dr Robert Ju. When cancer spreads - a process called metastasis - it becomes far more deadly and is responsible for most cancer-related deaths.
Dr Ju’s research targets cancer cells at a critical moment of vulnerability, weakening their protective armour as they spread so they break apart and activate the immune system. This work has the potential to create new hope for people with advanced cancers and expand the impact of immunotherapy.

Can Assist Transport Support
This project helps country cancer patients reach essential treatment by covering transport costs such as petrol and taxi fares. The goal is simple: remove distance and financial barriers so no patient delays or misses care.

Can Too is proud to support life-changing cancer research through funding a High Impact Project within their Early Career Cancer Research program. This targeted investment helps empower emerging scientists to pursue bold, innovative research that might otherwise struggle to gain support. By directing resources to promising early-career researchers, Can Too is not only advancing scientific discovery but also nurturing the next generation of leaders in the fight against cancer - accelerating breakthroughs that could one day transform prevention, treatment and patient outcomes.

Restoring Sight in Indigenous Communities
This project helps reduce avoidable vision loss by delivering cataract surgeries and removing barriers to care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients. Support enables life-changing treatment that restores sight and strengthens community wellbeing.

Babies at Risk: Early detection and intervention
In Australia, a child is born with cerebral palsy every 20 hours. Early intervention is critical — a baby’s brain has the greatest ability to adapt in the first 12 months.
While diagnosis has traditionally occurred much later, Cerebral Palsy Alliance can now identify CP as early as three months and begin targeted therapy straight away.
Through the Babies at Risk program, each child receives an individual therapy plan, giving them the best chance to develop key skills like walking and talking.
